UK Association for Solution Focused Practice

UKASFP members are passionate about helping people, and making a difference - every day, every conversation, one small step at a time.

Our members use Solution Focused Practice in every conversation, and we have helped people in all sectors and sections of society, ranging from individual therapeutic conversations through to global organisational change programmes.

The UKASFP is the leading membership organisation in the UK for practitioners and enthusiasts in Solution Focused Practice, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

We support our members to learn, develop and apply their Solution Focused skills.  Our members are involved in all aspects of this exciting field, and we have members who are:

  • sharing great case studies of where Solution Focused Practice has made a difference;
  • developing the understanding of Solution Focused Practice through research and study;
  • seeking new ways of thinking about how we can change the world, one small step at a time.

We are privileged to have members who have been instrumental in the development of Solution Focused Practice since the earliest days of research over 40 years' ago, and we are honoured to welcome new members who may have just discovered SFP recently and are here to learn more.

We offer significant benefits for members, including:

  • Access to the global network of members, sharing their skills and experiences;
  • An annual UKASFP Conference covering all aspects of SFP and SFBT;
  • The only recognised Accreditation Scheme, providing you with a gold standard of SFP.

We are delighted that you have taken time to engage with us here.
